A: PIT Stop Airport Parking is a 24-hour operation. We are always open.

Q: What should I bring to the facility on the day of my departure?
A: You, your car and your keys. Additionally, any coupons or reservations. Please be sure to bring a valid credit card and don’t forget your ID, passport, boarding passes or any documentation needed for your flight.
Q: Does PIT Stop Airport Parking accept motorcycles?
A: Yes, we do!
Q: Does PIT Stop Airport Parking accept oversized vehicles?
A: Yes, we currently accept parking for RVs, and Semis (both with and without trailers).
Q: What should I expect when I arrive at the facility?
A: You should expect to be greeted as you pull under the canopy. While you are checking in the driver and valet will assist with your luggage.
Q: What should I expect when I return?
A: After you receive your luggage, call the number provided on your claim ticket to let us know you are ready for pick up. We pick up at Door 2 and Door 8 only. When you return to PIT Stop, your keys and receipt will be in your comfortable vehicle based upon weather conditions (we cool the vehicle down in the summer, warm it up in the winter).
Q: How much earlier should I arrive at the PIT Stop Airport Parking prior to my flight?
A: We recommend you arrive at our facility about 15 minutes before you would like to arrive at the PIT airport. Please allow extra time on busy travel days (Monday’s, Thanksgiving, etc.)
Rates and Reservation Inquiries
Q: Are your rates per day or per hour?
A: PIT Stop charges by the calendar day basis, whether full or partial day. Any time spent at PIT Stop within 24 hours is considered 1 day.
Q: Are reservations required to park at the facility?
A: Reservations are not required. It is recommended to reserve a space online throughout the peak summer season and high travel holidays, including Thanksgiving and Christmas. PIT Stop reserves the right to become reservation-only at any time and for any reason.
Q: Do you have a weekly parking rate?

Q: Do you have a monthly parking rate?

Q: Is the price different if you do not make a reservation ahead of time and just pull into the garage?
A: There is a discount available on our website for prepaid reservations.
Q: Are there any other charges outside of your low daily rate?
A: PIT Stop’s low rates do not include applicable taxes and fees. $5.00 airport access fee and 9.75% county mandated parking tax.
Q: What are my PIT Stop Airport Parking payment options?
A: Payments can be made with all major credit card/debit cards, both in person or prepaid online with a reservation. Please note we do not accept cash.
Q: What if I don’t have a printer? Do I still have to print my PIT Stop parking reservation before arriving at the garage?
A: No, you can show us the reservation on your phone as well!
Q: What is your policy for canceling reservations?
A: Notice of cancellation must be received at least 24 hours prior to the start of the reservation in order to receive a full refund for pre-paid reservations.
Q: What is your policy for modifying reservations?
A: Reservations can be modified anytime up to 24 hours prior to the start of the reservation. Reservations can be modified online or over the phone (412) 788-2055.
Q: I’m making a reservation, but not certain of return date – please advise.
A: A reservation at PIT Stop Airport Parking assures the guest of entrance to the parking facility. You may return on whatever day you choose – many of our parkers, particularly business travelers, do not know what day they will return. We only ask for return dates to help our operational team formulate very rough estimates number of entrances and exits to a particular type of parking during a time period. We take into consideration in our formulation of these estimates that many guests will not exit on the day the originally planned.
Q: What happens if I come back sooner than I had originally planned?
A: If you have a reservation and come back sooner, we will refund you accordingly. You will not be charged until you call for a pick up, this helps to ensure an accurate charge. There are no holds placed on your credit card when we swipe it at check in.
Q: Previously, after taking long trips, we have needed our vehicle jump started in order to get car started again. Do you have jumper cables?
A: Yes, we have jumper cables, and we’d be happy to provide a jump start when you return. We also have an air compressor for those pesky flat tires.
Q: How do I get from PIT Stop Airport Parking to Pittsburgh International Airport?
A: That’s easy. PIT Stop offers a convenient shuttle bus service that leaves approximately every 10 minutes from the facility. Board the shuttle under a well-lit covered canopy, so you stay safe, warm and dry.
Q: How far is PIT Stop Airport Parking from the Airport?
A: The facility is approximately 5 miles from Pittsburgh International Airport and is a quick 6-minute shuttle ride to and from the airport.
Q: Once I am at Pittsburgh International Airport, where does the shuttle drop off and pick up?
A: The shuttle drops off at the commercial curbs of your preferred airline. We pick up at the ground transportation curbs door 2 and door 8.
Q: Are your shuttle buses compatible with wheel chairs or mobility scooters?
A: Here at PIT Stop we are able to accommodate disabled or handicap passengers with 24 hours advanced notice.
Q: Do your shuttles have car seats available for infants?
A: We don’t have car seats available, but you are able to use your own in our van.
Q: How do I earn Winner’s Circle reward points?
A: You earn one point for every day you park with PIT Stop Airport Parking.
Q: How do I redeem my Winner’s Circle points?
A: To redeem ‘free day’ points, upon entering the facility, members should alert the desk attendant that they would like to redeem their points.
Q: How many points does it take for a free day?
A: 7 points are required per free day.
Q: I’m a Winner’s Circle Rewards Program member, but I didn’t receive a receipt at the facility when I paid. What gives?
A: Your receipt and keys will be in your vehicle when you return. If for some reason it has been misplaced or you need it for expense reports or reimbursement, we can email a copy to you. Winner’s Circle members have the option to have receipts emailed to them automatically. Winner’s Circle members who have the PIT Stop mobile app have access to their receipts through the app.
Q: How do I use a PIT Stop Parking coupon?
A: Currently all PIT Stop coupons are on our website and require a prepaid reservation.
Q: Is PIT Stop Parking responsible if valuables go missing from my car while it’s parked at your facility?
A: We provide security that you would expect from a high-level airport parking solution: video cameras, fencing, lighting, security, etc., but we cannot be responsible for belongings left in your car. As with all parking situations, if you want to guarantee the security of your items, please do not leave them in your car.
Q: What if find damage on my vehicle that occurred while it was parked at your facility? Whose insurance will cover the damage?
A: If you find damage on your vehicle that you feel occurred while parked at our facility, report it to an employee prior to leaving the property. You will be provided with a customer claim form to complete, a detailed investigation will be performed, and you will be contacted by our corporate insurance claims department.
